THE MAKER OF THIS DRESS IS "KISS KISS FORMAL"... TAG
The maker of this dress is "KISS KISS FORMAL"... It is a size 2..
Wearer in pictures above is a size 00 and to the right model is a
little larger so corset style closure can be adjusted to suit a couple
of sizes... The first 2 pictures give a more accurate color, the sun
effected the pictures to the right....
The dress is made in 2 layers that are sewn together, black netting
over gold nylon... sewn on the black netting to create a pattern are
tiny black and gold sequins.. the black sequins are used to create
thin mosaic like lines and the gold are in clusters that accent...
The back is held together by a 5" zipper at the bottom and above
that is a 9" corset, using a long gold satin ribbon...
The length of the dress in the front is 53" and the slit is 31"...
The length at the back is 63"....
It is 23" at the waist and 30" at the hips and as I said, corset allows
it to be drawn in or expanded some....
The insert at the bodice that is covered with rhinestones, is approx.
14" long and 3 1/2" across at top tapering to 1 1/2" across at the
bottom.... Rhinestones are all different shapes and sizes, the largest
3/4" x 1/2" ovals...
There is a long piece of netting with tubular beads that can be
snapped on below the bodice that covers the slit in front....
This is a really elaborate eye-catching dress that has the potential for
creating quite a sensation (it did!).... It cost something over $400, was
used for 1 prom, worn approx. 5 hours by a very particular young lady
then stored away by her mother.... This dress would be perfect for any
formal occasion including any upcoming political event someone might
be attending this fall.....
